Select A New Club or Organization

We have an active Parent Teacher Organization at Meadows. We have general meetings four times a year on Tuesday nights at 6:00 p.m. The PTO helps provide Meadows with many special activities and extra teaching supplies that would not be possible due to the lack of funds and manpower.

PTO provides volunteers for many activities at the school including classroom readers, classroom assistance for special projects, supervision for extra recess incentives, book fairs, and other events. Also, PTO recognizes teachers in various ways during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Sally D. Meadows PTO is an important part of Sally D. Meadows Elementary. This organization is made up of parents and teachers working together to make Meadows the best school it can be. Several fundraisers are conducted throughout the year.  Money raised by the PTO is used to fund student programs such as ACE Club, BRAG celebrations, Pastries for Parents, recorders for music, and other programs. In the past, PTO has helped to fund field trips for each grade along with furnishing each teacher money to buy supplies for their classroom or students.

PTO meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and are held in conjunction with grade level music presentations.  A notice from the music teacher is sent home with students giving the details of the meeting/presentation.
