Red Ribbon Week is a week that our school will focus on the dangers of drugs and ways to stay drug-free. Red Ribbon Week will run the week of October 24th-28th. The theme this year is “Respect”. We will have dress-up for each day. There is NO CHARGE for these dress up days. They are as follows:
Monday: Red Day - "STOP! and show Respect"
Tuesday: Grade Level – Parade
2nd Superhero -"Be a Superhero Not a Zero. Choose to stay Drug Free"
3rd Braves - (Indian Theme) – “Too Brave for Drugs“
4th Camouflage – “War Against Drugs”
5th Fluorescent (Bright Colors) and Sunglasses to “OUTSHINE Drugs”
Wednesday: Storybook Character - "Show Respect with your Character"
Thursday: Tie Dye/Sixties/Hippie "Live in Peace, Show Respect"
Friday: Sports Day - "Show Respect, Be a Team Player"
We encourage children throughout the year to stay drug-free and RESPECT themselves and others; however, this week we will focus more intensely on the subject and try to give our students vivid reminders of how cool it is to “SAY NO”!!!!
